Till date, this unit have given financial assistance to 1) Rifleman No. 23047 A. Tombi Singh who suffered from serious sickness due to kidney transplantation and 2) Smt. Y. Leibaklei Devi who was suffering from cancer for their medical treatment in the year 2014. |

| Brief of the work done | Two (2) bundles of 10 mm iron rods which were stolen by 2 (two) thieves namely, L. Jiten Singh (35) S/o L. Ibopishak Singh of Mayang Imphal Thangjam Leikai and Irom Bobo @ Poireiton (30) S/o I. Jadu Singh of Langthabal Mantrikhong Mayai Leikai were recovered from Manipur University campus by patrolling team of 8th Battalion Manipur Rifles, M.U. campus guard on 26/06/2014 at about 13:30 a.m. and the said recovered items along with the thieves were handed over to Singjamei Police Station with proper receipt memo. |

Premchand Singh, OC Nambol PS, a sum of ₹ 20,000/- (Twenty thousands) only in the month of July,2015 for his medical treatment. He was severely beaten by miscreants and got serious head injury while on duty at Nambol area and now undergoing medical treatment at Shija Hospital, Langol. |
